Our Little Recap

I laughed. "You sleep so lightly. Are you really that worried about her?" Andy wasn't actually as tough as she led you on to believe. Only a few people saw past her disguise.

I sighed, "Yeah... I don't want to miss being there for her, I don't want anything to happen to her..." It was so rare that I ever expressed how much I loved her, except to her. "I feel like if I'm not there that she'll be scared for some reason..."

"I think she will be. She told me before that you're her rock and she can't imagine life without you. Then she went on to say that your jokes are really bad but she laughs at them to make you feel better..." I grinned, giggling a little. "I really can't wait to be an aunt."

"Your job is easy, spoil him rotten." I chuckled and then caught the last part, "HEY, really? I never knew that my jokes were bad..." I frowned a bit but then shrugged it off, I was so tired. I took a sip of my cola and then a bit of my dinner, so good. My phone vibrated just then and I snapped down to look at it instantly.

Okay... I couldn't wait for that baby to be born. T-T Stress... I was going to lose my hair to stress! DX

"I think I see gray hairs around your ears..." I giggled. "Is that Andy's doing? You'll go gray early!"

"If it is then fine... I'll just dye it or something." I chuckled and nodded to her last question, "Probably, once Sean is born though I think it'll feel a lot better, I think I'll be able to not panic so much if my phone rings."

I giggled. "I like the gray though, it suits you. You look more... distinguished!" I grinned. "Keep it!"

Katie could make me smile in any circumstance, I appreciated her comments, "Thanks, I'm glad you like it, I don't think it would look all that great on Zack though."

"Hmm..." I frowned and shook my head. "No, Zack's face doesn't fit it yet. Maybe when we're older it'll fit."

"That man is older than me, Katie!" I gaped, "I feel older than him though..."

"You have aged a lot!" I laughed. "But Zack has an almost baby-face. It just doesn't fit him yet..." I let my mind wander and laughed. "But I still love his earring. Thanks for doing that. You know what I like." I smiled.

"You're welcome, he seems to like it a whole lot more now, I'm proud of him!" I grinned widely and then looked at my phone again with an agitated sigh.

"Why don't we go back home?" I smiled. "You need to sit with Andy to reassure yourself she's okay. We can get to-go boxes and take it home!" I smiled at him. I loved that he was so in love with Andy. It was cute.

"I'm sorry... no, it's fine, we have our time together after all! I mean... it's just texts from this guy at work anyway." I turned my phone off and put it aside and ate, I needed to stop panicking.

I nibbled at the salad I got. "Really? Is he worrying you? Do I need to stop by and fuss at him?"

"Nah, I just want my phone to ring if it's Andy, I won't be so annoyed." I chuckled. I quickly forgot that I'd turned it off.

"Well, you turned it off so it's gonna have trouble ringing..." I laughed a little. He was so odd when he was stressed out.

"I know... part of me knows nothing is going to happen today." I chuckled a little bit at that fact, "The other half of me is upset." I then turned to my food, I was starving.

"Aw, but you should cherish the moments before a screaming child!" I giggled before downing more of my salad.

"I know, I really try... I feel like Andy is testing my limits especially when she shouts for me, it's like... she wants to see if she does it enough if I won't come running when it's really time." I doubted that would happen. ._.

I laughed. "That really sounds like Andy! One time I asked her why she does that, and she said she's trying to see if she can prove herself wrong. I think she'll end up losing in the long run though. You'll always come running. You're used to it because of me." ._.

It was true though. He always had to save me. ._.

I nodded, "I can't help it, I love her and I love you and if either of you call I'm going to come running." I said with a yawn, I was so tired, "And if I'm a cop... I'll always come running."

I smiled. "You'll be a good cop, Ian. Now, we need to take our plates home so we can get some sleep." I said, a yawn coming immediately after.

"I'm certainly going to try..." I got our take-away boxes and grabbed a couple of smoothies for us to take home, and one for Andy as well, knowing she'd probably want one.

I got home and collapsed on the recliner, exhausted.

I on the other hand, ran upstairs and sat on Zack's bed, waiting for him to get home. I needed a hug from him too. <3

"Sweetheart, you look exhausted." I said, sitting up and staring at him. I smiled though. He was cute when he was tired.
