I paid for the wood and then pulled the wagon behind me, walking into the center of town to meet Amber. But... she wasn't there. I looked around and then asked a few people who were nearby if they saw her and they said she had run off long enough ago that I wouldn't be able to follow, with a scary-looking man. I was alarmed, hearing such news and immediately ran to tell her mother and ask her what to do.
