"It's Katie." I finally admitted, "KATie." I tried not to laugh, I didn't want to make her feel bad.

"Oh..... OH!!! Katie! That's your sax's name?" I smiled and stared at the case. "That's cool! That's my name too!" I grinned.

Sandy stuck her tongue out and rolled her eyes before getting up and leaving.

"Hehe... yup." I said and then sat back, I had nothing else to do, "Anyway..."

"Oh!! Look what Ian got me for our birthday!" I said, holding my arm out so he could see the bracelet. "Isn't it pretty? I like it a lot!"

"Wow, that's really cool!" Ian was a really good big brother, he seemed genuinely caring and tough but very kind too. So protective though.

I was surprised he suggested that I go with her to the mall even!

I nodded. "Yeah! He got me a necklace too! But it's at the house today so you can't see it!" I laughed. "Maybe Saturday when I'm teaching you the fish names!"

"Alright that's cool!" So these two weren't identical at all. One was very serious and the other was kind of impractical but funny.

I really liked her but I didn't have the guts to say it.

I grinned and I felt my face burn up. I supposed I was blushing, but what for? I looked up at him and it got hotter and I got little butterflies in my stomach.

Why was he giving me these strange feelings?! >( Is this what Cinderella felt when she saw the handsome prince?

"So... what do you want to be when you grow up?"

I shrugged, "Still trying to figure that out, actually... my dad always told me I'd never amount to anything and that I'd fail at anything I do..." I looked at my saxophone case, "I always found solace with music but it's not really a good career..."

"I don't think that's true. I think... if you put your mind to it, you should be able to do anything you want to! I was able to get a B in math that way!" I smiled. "Besides, you don't seem like a failure to me!"

"I ace anything in classes and music of course but that's because I always applied myself... and I still do because I feel like I need to prove myself to my dad..." I frowned, "He hates me, I'll probably be nothing more than a useless kid to him in his eyes anyway." I shrugged, I hated talking about myself. "What is your family like besides your brother? Your mom seemed really nice when I saw her, she just hugged you..."

Parents... I always wished I had better ones.

"They're the best parents I could ever ask for! Mom said that Ian and I came at a pretty inconvenient time, and neither Mom or Dad had their degrees yet. So Dad dropped back on how many classes he took and worked longer hours to support Mom and help her get a teaching degree while she was pregnant. They never punished us for making a mistake and were always on our side, growing up. Even though Dad lost his legs before we were born, he still tried his hardest to be active in our lives.. He just played with us in different ways." I smiled. "We're a really tight knit group and there's another one on the way, but Mom says she's stopping after this baby."

I smiled, "You seem really close with just him but I can't imagine seeing you with your whole family... wow." I felt sick suddenly, I couldn't speak so proudly.

"You're so blessed."

"I know, I love my family. I want to be a stay at home mom if I can... but if I can't, that's okay too." I grinned. "I want four kids! Three boys and a girl!"

I smiled, "I'd like that too... I want a big family. I want find that perfect girl and spoil her to no end, she'll be mine and I'll treat her like a queen." I gave a smile, "She won't know pain... not with me."

I laughed. "Wow! What a lucky girl! I hope I can find somebody to treat me like that! It's every girl's dream!"

I stared at my little fish and watched them swim around. Mario rejoined his friends and they had all swam up to greet him. We were back from school and I hadn't go to see Zack yet. I was afraid to hurt him... but he had soup downstairs that I'd made him earlier! If he wanted it, I could go heat it up for him! "Hey little guys... you guys hungry?"

All of them looked at me and swam straight to the glass, staring at me. "I assume that's a yes..."
