"Exactly! And you could start having appointments at home. She'd only be able to monitor the heart beat though, not like... how the baby looks."

I was so impressed that Mom had such a wide variety of friends! SO PROUD. You go mom! <3

"I'll give her a call for you two." She said as she stood and walked out of the room.

I grinned and looked up at Ian. "Yay! A baby person!!" I laughed. "This is really good! I'm happy!"

"I'm glad!" I kissed her and took a moment to try and see if the baby was kicking, "Just a couple more months and we'll be there... I can't wait to meet him."

I giggled and he kicked right where Ian's hand was. "I think he's a Daddy's boy." I smiled happily. "He already loves you."

"Well I love him too! Any names?" I asked, I wasn't sure I wanted to be a last minute parent...

"Sean or Casey..." I said softly. "I like both names. Which one do you like better?"

"I like them both actually! Sean Casey Harrison?" I offered, "That way we can use both of them!" But then it occurred to me that she probably didn't mean for them both to be boy names.

"Oh..."

"Oh, Sean Casey!!! I love it!!" I gasped. "You're amazing!!!"I hugged him then... as well as I could. "I miss the better hugs." I frowned. It was so hard to hug him with a belly in the way.

"I know, we've got a baby squished right in the middle don't we?" I chuckled as I kissed her, "But I don't mind, we can hug better in two months or less!"

I nodded. "But then I'll have to share you..." I said softly. "I don't want to share you though... good thing I still have you for two months!" I smiled.

"Two months feels like forever, so don't worry." I kissed her, "You'll always have me."

"I know, I just don't want to share you... I'm a twinge selfish when it comes to you." I smiled up at him, totally in love with him.

I rubbed her back gently and sighed, "Well, once you see his face... you'll be more than willing to share me with him, right?" I offered with a kiss.

We met with the lady that Mom was talking about, she was sweet and very easy to talk to and explained EVERYTHING to us so we wouldn't be worried.

I was still worried about everything but I had confidence Andy would be okay. It was midnight, I laid in bed staring at the ceiling when I heard Mom on the phone.

Curious... I assumed she was talking to Mandy... but I couldn't be certain. Was she crying? Of course... why wouldn't she be? I sighed tiredly and walked around the house listening, Mom was in the kitchen.

"So he's calling tomorrow? Okay... I'll talk to him then..." She said, "Amanda... don't cry sweetie... ah. I know I'm crying, I'm sorry."

I sat beside Ian where we wouldn't be seen. "Hey." I whispered. I had the midnight munchies when I heard Mom crying.

"Hey..." I put my head in my hands and then heard Mom hang up the phone. She came around the corner and spotted Andy and I before we could move.

"What are you doing up?" She asked.

"I couldn't sleep and I guess..." I looked at Andy and thought I heard her stomach growl.

I grinned. "Hey Mom... I was hungry!" I struggled to pull myself up to a standing position and hugged her. "Want to have a snack with me?"

Mom nodded and seconds later we were downstairs and Mom was baking something quick and easy for us to snack on. Everyone else was asleep, or so I thought.

The front door opened and in stepped Zack still in his Taco Bell uniform. His hair had cheese in it.

"Huh..." He looked at all of us, "Are we having a sleep over or somethin'?"

I grinned. "Nope! We're having our second dinner! Wanna share with Ian? I would share mine, but I think I'll eat it all."

"I'm not sure, I'm pretty worn out so I may just go to bed..." Zack looked really upset, I hadn't seen him and Katie together all day and I wondered what was going on.

"Zack?"

He ended up sitting down anyway, running a hand through his hair. "Alright, I'll share with Ian..."

Mom smiled but I could tell she was exhausted.

"What happened?"

"Amanda couldn't sleep so I stayed up talking to her... and I'm not sure she's sleeping now." She replied.

I frowned a little and stuffed my mouth, then ruffled Zack's hair comfortingly. Why was he so upset? And why was he so quiet about it? "Isn't Aaron there? Or did he have to go home?"

Mom sighed, "Aaron is always there but she hates crying in front of him, she says it's something she's learning is okay to do..."

I looked at Zack again and he had gotten up, stretched and was walking towards the stairs, "I'm going to bed, thanks anyway." He kicked off his shoes and ran up the stairs.

This thing with Amanda was really making some of us lose it... There had to be something that could bring joy to everyone, including our Mandy.

"What should we do?"

"I don't know, but I'm trying to keep myself from getting down in the dumps, and those guys aren't helping me with their moping!"

I chuckled, "Zack has a lot going on right now besides Amanda though... I think he's thinking that Katie is upset with him, plus he's in the middle of college, added to that his work has been really bad lately..."

Mom nodded, "Zack is carrying stress bigger than just one problem..."

"I know, but if they don't talk to SOMEONE about it, then it won't get any better! And Katie won't talk to me!" I pouted and sat at the table, eating more of my snack.

"I think we just need to create some sort of intervention... maybe get everyone out in the den and we can all just... talk about stuff." I offered with a smile.

Mom grinned, "Great idea! And we can get Amanda on speaker phone too!"
