Oh... this sounds similar.

"You could do that? But don't you want to as much as me?" I asked, I thought he wanted to make sure they were all alive. I was really worried.

I nodded and took the amulet from her. She knocked out all of my energy with that ear scratch. I put it around my neck and with a snap, a portal appeared. What? You honestly believed that I had to have my staff to do magic? You're so silly.

Gill and Viann were visible and it looked like Gill had his arm in a sling. I stood up, helped up Riona, grabbed the staff, grabbed the horse and stepped through the portal. Darn woman. She made me so tired. >.<

Within seconds I was being suffocated by Viann, "Riona!!" She cried, "I thought I saw you get killed, I'm so glad you are okay!! Sweet Riona... I'm so glad to see you!"

"J-Julius!" Gill tackled him in a hug, "You're... kind of normal again!"

I hugged him back and looked him up and down. "Yeah, how are you? Are Adelle and Marcus with you? I don't see them..." I looked around and only saw Viann... holding Riona in a choke-hold.

"I'm okay... I got hit through my shoulder but I think it's going to be okay." Gill said. Viann was still holding me but then she sat back down.

"It was... really shocking. We aren't sure where Marcus and Adelle are."

I nodded and gave Viann a gentle hug, then took Riona's hand. "I thought they would be with you two, but I guess not..." I said softly. I was so tired though. I was about to fall over. I hadn't used any of my energy, but I hadn't slept the night before and I was tired. I swayed some and tried to keep my eyes open. "So, Viann got hit too?"

"The back of my leg..." Viann said with a sigh, "Gill got so mad because neither of us understood what was happening... You should rest a while, Julius, we can look for them later."

I nodded some. My fatigue just completely took over me in an instant. I didn't expect it. "Yeah..." I assured myself and sat down heavily. "They'll be fine."

Some time later Gill had started a fire. We still weren't sure where Adelle and Marcus were but I knew we'd find them eventually. Viann and I were having trouble going to sleep.

I woke up some time later. It was just about daylight. I yawned and sat up, realizing Riona was sleeping next to me. She was so cute when she was asleep. Just... adorable. I bent over and kissed her cheek and then noticed Gill grinning at me. >.>

*Gill*

"I see you are enjoying being human..." I said, I was sitting back with my back to a tree. Careful of my injured shoulder that is, it hurt so bad having two different holes in it. "You guys made it out pretty clean. Viann saw a girl identical to Riona get killed."

I raised my eyebrows. "Really? That's interesting. And yeah, I kind of navigated her out of there with the horse. I'm surprised we didn't get hurt, actually." I said softly. "I was scared of her getting hurt."

"I would be too, considering the fact that you were a cat at the time." I replied tiredly, "You did well taking care of her... we were both relieved to see she and you come back through the portal." I smiled at him, "Are you going to marry her?"

I smiled. "Definitely." I said, glancing back at her. "I don't want to lose her... she's wonderful. But anyway, who's the best man? Me, or Marcus?" I asked with a smirk.

"How can I choose between you guys? I really don't know... does it matter?" I had been thinking about it for 200 years and I still wasn't sure who was the best man.

"Oh... well, How about this, Marcus is your best man, I'm Marcus' best man because we both know he's going to marry Adelle, and you're my best man. That way, no one is disappointed." I said with a grin.

"I gues then it would be a win win situation. Deal, that sounds great." I smirked, "Your still one of my groomsmen though." We all wanted to be there for each other's biggest moments. I leaned against the tree some more and sighed, "Where the heck is Marcus... I'm so frustrated."

I shook my head with a sigh. "I don't know. I can feel him, but not Adelle. It's unsettling me." I rubbed my forehead. "I put tracking spells on all of you before the war. I can just barely feel Adelle, so I know she's alive, but..." I shook my head. "I'm going to get to them right now. They've been worrying me for a while now. I could feel them both easily yesterday."

"You think something happened to Adelle?" I was starting to feel really anxious since he said that, "Okay, go get them."

I stood up and grabbed my staff. "We should wake the girls." I said softly. "Viann will want to be there, and I don't want to leave Riona." I bent down and gave Riona a gentle shake. "Love... wake up."

I watched Riona wake up an smile at Julius, "Good morning..." She whispered, "Did they come back...?"

"No, we're headed to get them right now." I helped her up, then woke Viann too. "We should all go together." I said. I didn't want us separated anymore.

Viann got up really easily and held my hand, "I don't want to be separated again either." She agreed. I nodded as well.

"Julius is going to open a portal and take us to Adelle and Marcus." I said.

I nodded and held Riona's hand tight then made the portal. I couldn't believe what I saw. I stared for a second, then ran through the portal with Riona. Adelle was laying on the ground bleeding with Marcus... crying and trying desperately to stop it. "Julius!" He exclaimed, seemingly relieved. "I-I don't know what happened! We were walking, trying to find you guys and heard more of those bangs and then Adelle fell over and s-started bleeding! I don't know what to do! I can't s-stop it!"

I got down next to Marcus and looked her over, she was bleeding heavily and it wasn't going to be easy to stop it. "Push harder on it, how many times did she get hit?" I asked frantically.

Viann took off the sash around her waist and put some pressure on Adelle's bleeding places. "Please stay with us, Adelle!!" She was stroking Adelle's hair and crying, it was hard for her to keep her composure sometimes even after being in the army.
