This Is Why I'm Here... 1

No, seriously, we abandoned them. ._. They were still there and we just... left. I was tired of standing and receiving hugs and listening to awkward marriage stories. So we told our parents we were leaving and made our secret escape! I picked her up and carried her to the door. "Can you unlock it?" I laughed. "The key's in my pocket but I don't want to let go of you..."

"Okay!" I reached into his pocket and then took the keys, quickly unlocking the door before turning the knob.

I carried her in and shut the door with my foot.

And I carried her all the way into my bedroom.... >w>

And set her on the bed. I sat beside her and pulled my shoes off. "Ugh... my feet hurt."

I giggled and began to take off my dress but then I remembered that I still needed to give my incision time to heal so I stopped, "Can you unbutton this?" I asked.

I grinned. "GLAD...ly." I first wrapped my arms around her from the back though, and kissed her neck. Then I began to slowly unzip it. "You look beautiful in this..."

"Why thank you." I smirked and sighed in relief once it was unzipped. After that was done I stepped off the bed so I could step out of it and that just left me in the silky strapless top I had on... oh and some underwear.

I stared at her. "Y-You... Uh.. Wow." I gulped, still staring. I didn't know what to do and my mind went completely blank.

"I what?" I asked with a giggle, "Aw! Your face is simply beat red!" I went over and kissed him, caressing his cheek with the back of my hand.

"Y-Y-Y-You're..." I gulped. "You're r-r-really pretty..." I said, looking down into her eyes. I still felt odd for look at her body in... that way. I didn't know what to do!

"Aw, thank you!" I hugged him tightly and then tilted my head up to look at him, "I'm tired now, Kyle... let's cuddle?" I asked.

I gulped and nodded, slowly coming back to planet earth. I pulled my jacket, tie and shirt off, and slipped off my shoes. I climbed on the bed with her and drew her up, into my arms. "You look amazing..."

"Aw, thank you, you do too." I kissed him, lacing my arms around his neck gently, pulling myself up so I could hug him at the same time.

I kissed her back fully and pulled her even closer. This woman... was dangerous.

*Half a Year Later*

Shortly after our marriage Kyle and I started college. I decided to go for a teaching major since I'd excelled in private school and I'd gotten in via scholarship. Kyle and I went to the same college but didn't see much of each other due to the distance of our departments.

I loved it, I loved the idea of becoming a teacher and I loved learning things, even if it was stuff I pretty much knew already. It was exhausting though. I worked part time serving at a restaurant not far from the apartment.

I dropped my backpack inside the house, then yawned and locked the door back, heading off to work. I had school and work back-to-back most days. Rhema and I both worked equally hard and we were both underpaid. I got my phone out and sent her a text.

{Hey! I love you! How's your day been?}

I was on my dinner break at work, I had to work until nine and my classes had ended somewhere around noon earlier that day. I was exhausted already and not feeling well but I had some saltines to snack on. I heard my phone jingle and picked it up to see that it was a text from Kyle.

I missed my hubby so bad.

{I love you too. <3 It's been okay, I'm not feeling too good but I got saltines!}

I smiled. That was my Rhema... always looking on the bright side.

{Oh, those always make everything better! Should I stop by somewhere and bring you Nilla Wafers and some Sprite?}

I glanced at the text message and smiled a little thinking about it. Did I need that? I could always snack on some of those when I got home but then again, it might be nicer to just sleep it off.

{I know you need to get to work so don't worry about it. I think I can get a sprite here... I miss you so much, Kyle.}

I laughed at his text message and typed in the next one before starting to feel really nauseous again. Dang it. I cleared my throat and finished typing.

{I'll come home if I get really sick... which may be in the next couple minutes. Ugh. The smell of food isn't appealing at all today. XD T-T}

I smiled, walking out of a convenience store with a little bag. I was late getting to the message though.

{Well just go on home then! I'm sure they'd be happy to send you home so they don't get sick!}

I was already clocking out when I got his message and I sighed, I hated missing work because it was so important that we could pay for our apartment. I mean my parents liked to slip is cash here and there because Dad was always worried about us but I didn't want them helping like that all the time.

{On my way home now, I feel like my insides are being twisted around. I'll see you tonight. : )}

That was a hard question. I decided not to answer until I could get inside and grab some water, which would probably make me feel worse in the long run but eh.

I sat down on the couch and pulled a blanket around my shoulders before texting him back. Us both missing work... not good.

{I'm not really sure... maybe we could just watch American Idol auditions... I could use a good laugh.}

I used today as one of my vacation days, so I would still get paid anyway. I just needed to be home with my wife.
