Our Little Recap 1

"Shhh... shh..." I got up and looked her in the eyes, her beautiful eyes, "Andy... take slow and steady breaths, getting worked up is going to hurt you or the baby... you need to relax and just breath." I eased her onto the couch and then sat next to her, gently laying a hand over her stomach, "I know you aren't feeling well and this is scary but we can do this."

I tried to do what he said. It was so hard though. Different things kept running through my mind. I'd now be called a slut at school. I'd forever be the girl that tied Ian down. I took another deep breath and squeezed his hand. "I want a boy." I said, my voice so soft it was barely audible. "I little baby boy."

I wanted to smile at that but I had to keep her calm, I couldn't let her panic and so I held her tight, careful of her stomach because I wasn't sure how possible it was to hurt the baby at this time.

"Okay... close your eyes and just try to rest here... we can work this out."

I nodded. "O-Okay..." I looked down at my stomach and wiped my face, leaning into him. "If it looks like you, I'll have the cutest baby ever." <3

"He'll be the cutest baby ever no matter what." I managed to relax myself after a few minutes of thinking about it. I was almost done with high school and then I'd go to college... Mom and Dad would be very helpful... right? OnO

I sniffled and was thankful for Ian's warm arms. "This shouldn't be as scary as it is. It should be h-happy and joyful and we should be l-laughing and giggling and deciding happily which set of parents to tell. Why is it being so hard to feel that way?"

"Because we're young and still in school..." I said but then smiled at a memory, "But Mom and Dad were married and still in school when they had Katie and I... maybe it's not so bad." I offered with a bit of an optimistic smile.

I smiled back. "You're so optimistic. It's hard to be upset for very long when you're around." That's what I liked about him.

Actually, that's what I loved about him.

"My optimism is contagious. It makes everyone optimistic." I smiled wider, "It's rubbing off on you as we speak!"

"Yes it is!" I began to laugh a little, looking up at him with big round eyes. "And... I really like it!"

"Now..." I looked at her closely still trying to smile, "I'm glad we're having a baby... together... but until I graduate next month let's keep it to ourselves... just for now?" I asked worriedly, "When I graduate I can get a better job at least until I get to..."

Shoot. I didn't want to tell her about becoming a cop... she vaguely knew but I wasn't sure if it would scare her.

I bit my lip. "We're not talking to your parents about it... then?" Was that such a good idea?

"If you think we should right away we will... but..." I wasn't sure what to do. I felt lost and confused and wished that I could make this right.

"We'll tell them..."

ATTENTION ALL CREEPERS LURKERS. WE GOT CONFUSED AND THOUGHT ANDY'S NAME WAS SAMANTHA. SO IN THE PREVIOUS POSTS, SAMANTHA IS ACTUALLY ANDY.

"Okay, I just... I don't want to keep them in the dark. Th-They've been so kind to me and everything and I don't think they deserve that." I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck. "But my parents... well, they can wait." I gulped. "They're never around anyway..."[u]

I took her close to me and kissed her neck gently, just below her jaw line. "Whatever you wish." I could barely picture my parent's reactions as we'd never been in this situation before... oh well.

Later we arrived at my house to the sound of laughing and Zack's saxophone playing, probably in his room. It sounded a lot like a Rick Astley tune...

I was rick rolled?!? By a saxophone...

"Well it sounds like everyone is in a good mood..." I whispered to Andy.

I snickered some, briefly forgetting about how scared I was to tell Ian's parents I was pregnant with his child. "I guess so! That's relieving!"

"Well it's guaranteed that everyone will be in a good mood here... usually anyway!" I grinned as we walked into the den. Mom and Dad were watching TV and Lane was napping on Mom's lap.

"Oh, you're home!" Mom said with a smile, "sit down, we're watching Undercover Boss."

I gave Ian a nervous glance. What were we supposed to do? Sit with them for a while or just blurt it out? I'd rather go with the blurting because it's over faster that way, but he might not want to do it that way...

"Um... I'll follow you..." I whispered.

I laced my fingers with hers and then sat down on the love seat... more like the 'awkward seat' because it's normally where Zack and Katie sat, they had been an official couple far longer than Andy and I. It felt like that was the seat designated for long time lovers. >.<

"Umm... Mom... Dad..."

I bit my lip so hard it was nearly bleeding. They were both looking at us so hard, I couldn't stand it anymore. "I-I'M PREGNANT!" I exclaimed loudly. "Five weeks! I-I'm pregnant and I'm really sorry and please don't hate me!!"

I shut my eyes tight. Oh man, I could feel the burning glares!!!

I watched Mom's expression and at first she seemed a little bit shocked but then she smiled and laid Lane down before jumping up and hugging Andy gently. "That's wonderful news!"

I thought I heard his dad laughing. "Uh... r-really?" I was so numb. Why was she hugging me? Shouldn't she be hating me for tying her son down like this? Making him rethink how he would go about chasing dreams?

"Rhe, please move so I can hug her too!" I heard Mr. Harrison say. "I want to congratulate her too!!!"

"B-B-But... what?" I'm so confused! >.<

My family was always surprising me, where was their anger? Where was the 'GET A JOB OR ELSE' speech? I gaped and watched as both my parents were just hugging Andy as if she'd just blessed them.

Then again...

"I've always wanted grandbabies..." Mom said.

I guess she did! O3O

I was hugging his dad now who no matter what, was refusing to let me go. I was shaking and scared, and he knew it. He ended up pulling me into his lap and hugged me tight until I started crying again. They were taking it well, but I knew for an absolute fact that my parents would kick me out. I would ruin their reputation with their friends if they allowed me to stay. "I'm so scared. I'm sorry."

"I know sweetie," His dad said softly. "You'll be fine."

He said it with such certainty, I couldn't help but believe him. Ian must have gotten that from him.

"Yeah, we'll take good care of you and help with the baby! I love children... I just don't want to get pregnant again..." Mom said she was getting old but she still had a very young face and a skip in her step.

I smiled in relief, they weren't even looking at me.
