Our Little Recap 1

"Y-You will?"

"Of course! Hey, you can even bunk with Katie! We'll take care of you!"

I looked back at Ian to see him smiling, as always. I offered him one in return and sighed. "How am I going to pay fo-"

"Don't worry about it, consider everything-all your hospital visits.. everything, taken care of."

Even more relief.

I still wanted to be the one to take care of her most though, that meant a lot to me. Next we had to tell Katie and Zack but in a way that would really surprise them!

A few days later we invited them to go to the mall. Zack had to work that evening so he was walking around in uniform.

We all walked hand-in-hand with out significant others. "Thank you guys so much for coming with us today!" I said with a happy smile.

"Oh, it's no problem! I was just thinking I needed some new dresses anyway!"

I looked over to where Zack was walking, arm in arm with Katie, he reached his hand down further to hers and his fingers immediately laced between her little, dainty ones. I could almost imagine what he was thinking as he looked around with a look that said 'hands off'.

I pulled Andy close.

"I need some new running shoes for gym." I said and then looked at Andy with a smile, "Andy needs some comfortable clothes too."

I leaned into him and nodded. "Ah...y-yeah, I've been gaining some wait and I need some bigger clothes." I'm sure my face was a bit pink at admitting that. I didn't want to be called fat. I'd always worn clothes bigger than me and been called fat as a result. I didn't let it get to my because I knew I wasn't fat.

But now I was actually going to be as big as a horse! T-T

I looked at Zack and Katie, mainly Zack who seemed a little bit oblivious to the fact that she was gaining weight. I guessed it didn't phase him much.

"Well... let's let the girls do what they want and then we'll go get some lunch." He said.

"I kinda noticed..." Katie admitted. "So I was going to take you out shopping anyway! Today is perfect to take advantage of!! Oh! I bet you'd be cute in a dress!"

"Ah... me? No..."

"Yes, yes! A dress! A very cute, sexy dress!"

"Ah... m-maybe, I'll think about it."

"Okay then!" Katie said happily. Ah... I hoped she'd be okay with this... >.<

A sexy dress huh? My mind wandered for a moment but I couldn't picture her in a sexy dress at all... not while pregnant. We followed them to a store that sold mainly formal outfits.

Zack was smiling and asking Katie to try on certain things.

Katie was running around, picking out clothes for herself and picking up dresses and blouses that Zack picked out for her. I stuck close to Ian and had a really hard time looking around. "Um... w-where's the maternity section...?" I asked him softly.

"Andy!"

I turned to see Katie holding up a strappy red dress. "Ah... n-no... that's a bit much..."

"Aw, really? I thought you'd look really cute in it!"

I looked at her and then looked at the dress when I felt something running down from my nose to my chin. Wait... was that...?

"Oh wow, Ian's having a nose bleed!" Zack chuckled, it was the first laugh I'd heard out of him today! D:

"Oh no!!! Uh-Ah..." I fumbled through my purse and retrieved a pack of tissues after bravely traversing the inner depths of the great unknown... which is the inside of my purse. "H-Here!" I handed them to him. He didn't do this the other times he saw me... um... bare.

And Katie was giggling. "Andy~ I think he likes it!!"

"Ah, no, Katie. I won't be able to wear that... is there anything that covers a bit more up...? And comes in bigger sizes?"

"B-Bigger size... what? Andy, you're like... a two! Maybe a four now that you've gained some weight! Please! You can wear anything! Especially this!"

"Well then... something that covers more then...?" I asked hopefully.

Zack stopped laughing and stared at the two of us as if we were hiding something which we were... but we weren't going to tell them straight out.

"But why?" Zack asked curiously as he handed Katie another dress, "I'm not allowed to say that you'd probably look good in it..."

"She would..." I said quickly but trailed off, "She needs something that flatters her curves!"

Was I going to get slapped?

I wanted to slap him. I really did... but I couldn't bring myself to harm him...

So I mentally slapped him instead. "I'm going to look at clothes over here!" I called, storming off.

"B-But that's... the maternity section, Andy!"

"Exactly! Bigger clothes!"

I knew I made her upset but... I loved curves. T-T What was so wrong with that?

"A-Andy!" I called catching up with her, I was glad she found it but if anything that would give it away to Katie and Zack, I began to rub her back wondering if she was hurting at all. I felt so bad.

I let him. I couldn't ever be mad at him long enough to do any serious harm. "I'm hungry, I feel fat, and she keeps giving me revealing clothes!" I complained. "I-Maybe I could have worn them before... but I'm not so sure now. I know I'm not huge, but in less than a couple of weeks, I won't be able to wear the clothes she's choosing for me. Maybe if I were more straight-forward like I was with your parents... but I don't know how they'll react and now I've probably messed it all up and given everything away!" I hugged him suddenly. "I've got some serious mental issues, Ian."

I was starting to pick up pretty things for her to wear, "No, don't say that!" I whispered to her, rubbing her back gently again and showed her the dress I'd picked up, "Look, it's not revealing but it'll be beautiful on you."

I looked at it and frowned. "I don't like the yellow. I like it better in hot pink."

I was wrong... why was I so scatter brained right now? I couldn't take anything she said to heart, I knew I messed up. I put it back and handed her the hot pink one.

I took it in one hand and took his hand in the other. "Pick something else out. You're better at this."

"Are you angry with me?" I asked sadly as I picked up a pretty shirt for her, it had hearts on the corner and then some around the left sleeve. "This would be pretty on you too..." I picked a red color.

"N-Not anymore. Well, I was frustrated with you for about a millisecond, then I was frustrated with Katie for about a second, then frustrated because I might get fat... but you're making it better because you're picking out really nice things that suit a young pregnant girl, and I love you." I smiled sweetly.

I smiled and then turned to rub her sides gently, "Well I want you to know that no matter what you look like, what your shape is or what you weigh that I will always, always and forever, love you. And I must say... a pregnant you makes a more beautiful you." I kissed her neck.

"A pregnant who?" I turned to see Katie standing there, holding a little pink shirt that I would have squealed over if it had been practical to get.

"Um... a pregnant me..." I gulped, beginning to shake.

"Oh really?" She frowned. "So why did you let me shop in the wrong section?" She gave me a quick hug, shoved the little pink shirt in an employee's hands as he walked by and scurried to the first few racks. "Oh! These are so cute! I love them! I want a baby now so I can wear these tops! Andy! Congratulations, I love you, how far along? PRACTICAL shopping we must do!"

"Ah... uhm... f-five weeks... or so...?"

"AHA! I'm the godmother!"

"O-Okay!"

"And the wonderful aunt!"

"Y-Yeah, and... and the m-maid of honor..." I gulped. Were we even getting married yet? I hadn't even spoken to Ian about it.... oops.

"Oh yes! I must be! And I'll dote on the little person as much as I possibly can! You know, I'll even buy them fish!"

I could imagine her bringing our two day baby home some fish. Yes, that would amuse our child very much wouldn't it? I laughed softly and then took in what she said about a maid of honor.

I had to propose and I had no money for a ring... what would I do? T-T

"I'm going to be an uncle?!" Zack called, "Really?!"

The people in the shop were awing and laughing. We were getting congrats all over!

I laughed a little and nodded. "Y-Yes! Yes you're going to be an uncle!"

Katie grinned and ran back with arms full of clothes... they were just my style! "I've got clothes!!"

I smiled. "I love them! Thanks!" I ran to her and flipped through the clothes. I loved them all!!
