Our Little Recap 1

"Too?" I was confused for a second but then I realized something, "A family member?" I asked.

"My older sister... she died five years ago from leukemia and so... they'll be scared. But don't worry, they didn't treat Tricia differently and they won't treat you differently." Don't ask if we were close. Please don't ask... don't ask! >.<

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know that..." I wished I hadn't gotten sick, what could I have done to avoid getting sick like this?

I shrugged. "I know you didn't, but you deserved to know. Besides, Mom would have told everything during her crying fit which would have made everyone feel bad!" I chuckled a little and reached for her hand. "It'll all be okay, just let them take it all in."

"Maybe having me gone for a few days would be best anyway..." I squeezed his hand, eager to get my slushie because I knew it would boost my mood. "Maybe we can bring them back dinner and slushies?" I offered.

"Well, they'll be at the game, so I guess we can get them some after the game!" I nodded happily.

"Oh good idea!" I said eagerly, "I can't wait to see them again... I just hope they'll smile at me. I've really ruined the day."

"They'll always smile at you! They love you!" I laughed. "Crazy! They'll love you no matter what! And Dad already promised me this morning that he'd get your prizes if you didn't catch them!"

"I appreciate that too, I hope I'll be quick enough to catch them." I didn't want to miss the prizes, he seemed excited for me to get them.

"I think you will be!" I pulled in the parking lot and grinned. "Let's go et those slushies!"

"Slushies!" I repeated eagerly, I loved slushies, we had to get one at least twice a week or, well, it just wasn't right to deprive someone of a slushie! D:

"I really hope they have cola!"

"I think they do!" I laughed. "I mean, what kind of slushie place wouldn't carry your favorite slushie?"

"A slushie place that doesn't carry it or a place with a broken machine." I grinned as we pulled up to the place, I was ready to get out of the car but I couldn't get out on my own. >___<

I laughed and got out of the car, running around to help her out. "Well, we'll go around everywhere to find a slushie place that keeps your favorite slushie if this doesn't have it!"

"Yeah and suddenly we'll have missed the game, let's just hope this one has it." I replied and draped my arm over his shoulder.

We walked inside and up to the booth. "Oh! It looks like they have it!" I gave her a small hug. "I'd like two medium cola slushies!" I figured I'd try her favorite. <3

"Coming right up!" The woman behind the counter said, she filled the cups up to the top of the lids and then slid them to us before tallying it up on the cash register.

I paid her and handed Amanda her slushie, before trying a sip of mine. "Oh man, this is awesome!"

"Isn't it?" I asked as I sipped mine slowly, I liked to savor every bit of it. "That's why it's my favorite."

"Mm... much better than blue raspberry!" I nodded. "Am I allowed to share this as a favorite with you?"

"I don't mind that at all! Mmm... yum." I looked at my watch, "We still have time before the game. Today is going slowly."

I wished time would just stop. "It is... but I feel it isn't going slow enough! If it went slow enough! We could spend forever together before the game."

"Forever is a long time." I said softly, "And then I wouldn't get my prizes."

"No, but you'd get me!" I gave her my award winning smile... which has yet to win any awards. "And unlimited slushies!!!"

"What? Really?!" I gaped, "Oh wow, never ending slushies and then I'd never have to go to the hospital on Tuesday!" I was loving this idea.
