Our Little Recap 1

I kissed her lovingly, letting the kiss last as long as we wanted it to. "You're too beautiful for me." I whispered softly. "But I'm not complaining..."

"You better not complain, I'll give you things to complain about..." I bluffed, glad to have him and glad to know we could joke together.

I laughed and kissed her again. "Why would I complain about having you for a girlfriend? It's the greatest gift God has ever given me. I'll cherish you forever... I promise."

I was simply stunned by his words for some reason, something inside me fluttered and I couldn't help but feel butterflies and excitement building.

"Gifts that keep on giving."

I grinned. "You fit the bill perfectly. I love you." I kissed her soft lips and lingered there a moment. Kissing her was like an addiction. Once started, it was hard to stop! Not that I wanted to though. I mean, who would pass up kissing the most beautiful girl in the world if she didn't seem to care? <3

I savored that kiss, every second of it was a precious memory. After a few more minutes of sweet somethings we went to Michaels to pick up our supplies. Andy and Ian had no idea.

I wondered if they were even prepared?

I stared at the isle. There were like, four different kinds of wooden planes. "Um... which should we get?"

"I think we need something that looks babyish... since he'll be a new born..." I wheeled around a little looking at the different items, I picked up a couple soccer balls and a spaceship as well.

I grabbed a plane with a little propeller that moved. "I like this... does it look baby-ish?" I asked, turning to hold it up to her. "I think it'll be cute with glowing stars on it!"

"Yeah, it's perfect!" I couldn't wait to start putting it together. I got some strong green and blue lace for the things that would hold them up. Perfect colors.

This baby had better be a boy!

"YES. And a blue? I'll paint it blue! He'll love it. Yes, my plane will be his favorite! I demand it!" I laughed, setting it in the basket Amanda was holding in her lap.

"He will and he'll have the best uncle ever too! You have the opportunity to take the favorite uncle title so I'd hurry and grab it while he's young!"

I grinned maniacally. "Yes, I won't lose to Ian! There's no way! I must be the favorite Uncle who teaches him basketball at an early age! Yes!"

"But... you can't be better than Ian! Ian is his dad... you can try to be better than Zack and Elijah though!" I grinned.

"Actually, I can be a better Uncle that Ian. That's why I chose him! Because he's the dad!" I stared at her for a moment before bursting into laughter. "Okay, well, that was really just a slip of tongue! Wow, I can't believe I said that!"

"Well... you could always be a better uncle than Ian to Katie's kids!" I offered, "Though if she gets pregnant one day I'd be shocked... I don't think Zack is ever going to pop the question!"

I nodded. "True! He seems really hesitant and is it just me, or does it seem like it's bothering Katie?"

I frowned, "It is bothering Katie... but I think he's holding off because of school and the fact that work is really not so supportive right now. He can't afford to take care of her." I hated the way that sounded, it was obvious he didn't want them to be on the streets.

"Yeah, he's smart, there's no doubt about that. I just hate to see Katie upset. She's too sweet to be trying to hide her disappointment when everyone talks about Ian and Andy's wedding plans. I think she's excited, but just disappointed that it's not her."

I nodded slowly, "I know, wedding showers and all of that... and none of it is even happening until after the baby is born which is fairly soon." I sighed, "I want to see her happy..."

"Me too. But he's safe, it's not like Katie would ever leave him... just get incredibly sad maybe." I sighed. "We should start taking her places that have nothing to do with weddings!" I dropped some paint brushes in her basket.

"Yeah! Like... umm..." I was going through my mind trying to figure something out to do with Katie, my big beloved sister. <3 I wanted to make sure she didn't have to think about her best friend getting married.

Her best friend being her twin. For some reason it made me want to cry.

"Uh... the pet store?" I smiled. "I heard two of the fish died and she was really upset. Maybe we could take her to pick out a few more to give the remaining fish new friends?"

"That sounds like a plan!" I grinned so that would be what we'd do before I had to go back for treatment, I wanted to spend a lot of time with everyone.

"Okay, great! I love your family... especially Katie. It's hard to not love Katie. I think you'd have to be an evil person with no good humanness left in your body to hate Katie." I laughed. "Oh, we can get her new aquarium decorations too!"
