Our Little Recap 1

"Everyone loves Katie, she's just... like the smile of the family!" I said, even if it didn't really make any sense I still said it! 8D Then I responded to his comment about decorations, "Oh, good idea!"

"Ah! that description fits her perfectly! You're genius!" I exclaimed. "And a number of other wonderful things, but it'd take all day to list all of them off to you!"

"You can just say I'm me! That wraps it up into one two letter word!" I grinned as we got finished picking up our supplies and I got a hot glue gun.

I laughed. "Alright then, what else do we need?" I kissed her cheek. Yep... addicted. >u<

I smiled a little, "Actually, I need a little bit of fabric and some needles and thread so I can make the cover that goes over the mobile frame." I admitted so that's where I went next. On the way I started to feel really nauseous, I was so tired and that morning I'd been acting hyper and like my usual self plus back and side pain.

But this came on.

I blinked the sleepy feeling away but the nausea wouldn't leave.

"You okay, Love? You're pretty pale." I said softly, following her around.

"I just don't feel well." I admitted honestly as I put my palm to my forehead. If anything it was chemo, I was losing my hair and a lot of weight, food didn't even feel appealing anymore and I'd wanted to go out to eat with Aaron.

"Sorry... it's really nothing, just a little stomach ache."

I frowned a little. "Do I need to take you home after we finish here?" I asked softly. "We can order some dinner!"

The question came at a moment when I couldn't really keep my eyes open, I caught it towards the end and assumed he was asking if I wanted to go home.

"I think I should." I said sadly, "I feel really sick..." I wheeled over to a shelf and picked up a bandanna with lady bugs on it.

"Okay, we'll get the rest of the stuff at another time." I pushed her to the register at the front, paid, then we were out the door and headed to her house. "Well, this was fun! We need to go back soon!"

"Yeah, we'll go back soon." I replied as I was tying the bandanna around my head and pretty much hiding that bald spot I'd found earlier. "I'm sorry, Aaron..."

"For what?" I raised an eyebrow at the banana, but didn't say anything. "Did I miss something?" I laughed.

I looked at him with tired eyes, "I don't like being sick, I'm sick right now and I feel like I'm going to throw up and it's just... taking it's toll and I want to cry and I don't want to all at the same time." I knotted it and made sure it was going to stay, that was better.

I frowned a little. "Well, I'll rub your back when we get home. That always seems to make you feel better, doesn't it?" I asked softly. I wished I could do more for her, but I didn't know what to do.

I nodded, "Yeah." I replied softly as we were on our way back to the house, I kept thinking about everyone and deciding just like everyone was going through something, maybe I could treat this like a small affliction, that could make it so much easier to tolerate.

Like a cold or a stomach bug.

"Thanks."

"Don't thank me. It's the least I can do for my Love." I kissed the top of her head. "I just love you a ton."

"You spoil me." I giggled as we got closer to home, I wanted to sleep a while and maybe I could sleep and just relax with him somehow, but I didn't want him to be bored either.

"Mmm... and it makes me happy to do so. Maybe I haven't spoiled you enough though. I think I need to spoil you a lot more!" I laughed and we turned into the driveway.

I responded with another smile but sleep was already taking me, giving me peace from being nauseous for the time being.

*Ian*

A month or so later I sat in the living room staring at the TV, my head pounding and fever raging. I was sick and missing important work hours and school hours. I was missing visiting hours too, with Amanda in the hospital I couldn't go see her sick, she was more prone to getting more sick if I was there.

Stupid cold! D< I got up slowly and decided to make some lunch for Andy. I put a mask over my face and some gloves on when Zack came in sipping a soda.

"What are you doing?"

"Making lunch."

"Uh... go sit down, what do you want?"

"It's for Andy. I'm making a pizza."

"Oh. Well, sit down and don't get your cold germs all over the good food... I'll make it."

"Uhm... Ian?" I stared at Zack and Ian... but mostly Ian. "Why are you wearing a mask and gloves...?" I waddled into the kitchen and stared at the pizza. "I hope that's not for me. Eww... anchovies."

"I figured if we're having pizza I'll just make a few, there's another one over there, no anchovies!" Zack grinned, he hated them too but for some reason Mom liked them.

I coughed, "I'm sick, Andy... I don't think I can go on much longer." I sniffled. Really pathetic.

I stared at him. "Tough it out, you'll get through it." I patted him on the shoulder and kissed his temple, then looked over the other pizza. It was tolerable. >.>

"Ah! Dang... Andy you kissed me..." I frowned and looked at her stomach, "I don't want you and the baby to get sick... what if it's contagious?"

I grinned. "I can tough it out. I've lasted this long. Besides, I can go to the doctor and they'll help me get better. Maybe that's what you should do! Hmm... can you put pepperonni on this, please?"

I watched Zack toss pepperonis on the pizza with a flick of his hand, which was hilarious considering he probably spent the day topping tacos usually.

"Hey Zack... when are you going to pop the question?" I decided to ask, forcing back a cough.

"Shhh!" He snapped, "I'm not sure where Katie is lurking today..."
