Our Little Recap

"Haha, I didn't really... lose it, it was a birth defect... of sorts." I shrugged, "But yeah, I didn't give up even though I was awkward growing up and I couldn't go to public school for a little while. Um... are you afraid of anything?" I asked, I kept talking about myself and it was annoying.

I shrugged. "I'm scared to death of physical harm and burglars and such... because they cause physical harm." I laughed. "But I'm not talking paper cuts or anything like that, I mean... like what Dad went though... and what Andy is about to go through having that child." I shook my head. "I'm such a wuss when it comes to that stuff. I can't imagine."

I thought about it and laughed, "Ours go hand in hand then... I'm kind of scared of... getting pregnant when I get older, I want children but the idea of... um... looking like a blimp kind of scares me for some reason..."

I shook my head. "But you'd be a cute blimp, I assure you." I smiled warmly and struggled keeping my hands to myself. I wasn't normally the kind of person to be quick to act, but when it came to Keely, everything changed.

BLUSH. SERIOUS BLUSH.

"Ah... that's... um..." I felt that tight feeling again and couldn't even stand it, it made my voice sound funny and so silly in front of him! >////<

And then there was our first date... I could only wonder how that'd go.

I twiddled my thumbs and sighed. "How far is your house? I'll walk you home unless your parents are coming to get you." I said softly. Everyone excepting Amanda and I were considered lucky. The one person they liked more than anyone else, they never said bye, or goodnight, wondering if they'd see them the next day because they all lived in the same house.

"You can, it's only two short blocks from here!" I said, "I love taking walks with you and I think I'm feeling better now."

I smiled when she said that. She liked taking walks with me?! "Okay then, I'll walk you home." I stood up and reached my arm toward her to help her up.

"Okay." I got up and linked my arm with his and prayed that no one was looking out the window at us. Would it be cheesy to say that we walked into the sunset? Because that's what it looked like.

I held her hand tight and smiled to myself. She had actually held my hand and hadn't let go! I was kinda sorta... walking on air.

A couple days later we went to the mall and I bought him a bear with a base ball cap and a shirt that had the name of a random base ball team on the back.

I felt silly but I really thought he'd like it! <3 So now to wait for him to arrive, I was standing at the front holding the bag that had his present in it.

I was running down the sidewalk toward the mall and practically tripped over myself on the way. But it was all good because I reclaimed my balance and arrived at the mall entrance. I saw Keely and sighed irately at myself. She got there first, therefore... I was late. "Sorry, I was a little late leaving. I got hounded with questions!" I said a little tiredly, but with a warm smile as I walked up to her. "Ah, you've already been shopping, huh?" I asked curiously.

"I kind of came early on purpose..." I laughed a little and held the bag out to him, "This is for you, I saw it and thought you should have it but I'm not sure the team name is correct..." I began to ramble softly, my voice fading as I realized I should probably not talk so much.

"Really?" I took it and and pulled a soft little bear out. "Atlanta Braves, huh?" I grinned. "How'd you know?! They're my favorite team! Did you talk to Amanda?"

"Nah I just kinda guessed..."

I didn't tell him that it was the only bear there, easy enough to pick it up and pay for it then walk out of the store without a second glance. "I'm glad you like it though!"

"Thank you so much!" I grinned and held the bear on my shoulder. "I need something to secure him here for the rest of the day! She's my little buddy!"

Yes, the bear is a she. <3

I felt butterflies, he really liked it a lot! <3 Yay! I linked arms with him and rested my head against it, smiling softly and really feeling as though I was melting.

We weren't really at the mall very long when we decided to get something to eat.

We decided on a pizza place and I moved to grab my wallet out to get my debit card when I realized it wasn't there. "Oh man..." I sighed. "Well, I feel stupid now..." My face was burning up. My wallet was not in my pocket. I'd accidentally left it at home on my bed! >.<

"I can pay for it or we can walk back and go get it!" I offered, smiling since I really didn't mind taking a long walk with him anyway, it was a good day for walks.

I couldn't help but return her smile. "We'll go get it then... I can't keep you here all day and neglect to feed you!" I laughed a little and led her out of the line.

And I guess that obviously meant I wasn't paying for our lunch so I followed him out of the mall. I quickly linked my arm with his and stayed close still realizing that as I got closer the more I was falling for him, his charms were enough to make me want more.

I shook my head a little, still smiling. This girl was wrapping me tighter and tighter around that little finger of hers. Sooner or later, I would be hers and only hers! "So, where do we want to eat after I get my wallet? Is your heart set on pizza, or would you like something else?" I was asking because now we weren't just confined to the mall.

I shrugged, "I don't care either way... although Asian food sounds really good right now, what do you like?" I asked as we continued our journey. He was looking at me but I couldn't really read the look on his face.

"Mmm... Asian does sound good!" I grinned. I was actually thinking about kissing her when a really creepy, scraggly guy appeared in front of us. He held a switchblade and glared at us. "Uh, yes sir...?" I asked, stepping in front of Keely.

"Give me your money... and any expensive jewelry! Now!"

I only responded to it because I didn't want Eli to get hurt, I began to take out my earrings and took off the bracelet I was wearing, they probably weren't worth anything but if it would get him off our backs... I held out my hand, wondering if Eli would notice since he was standing in front of me.

I tossed my own money too.
