Our Little Recap

"What? Me?" I waved my hand dismissively, "It's a stomach bug, why?" Every time I got nauseous family would just kind of ask if I was okay but after the eighth trip everyone was just starting to get laid back about it for some reason. Ian even shouted at me once 'RUN KEELY RUN!'.

"I'm not sick!" I grinned.

"Oh, s-sorry then!" I said quickly. "I wasn't meaning to be nosy!" What was wrong with me? No matter what, I almost always assumed I'd done something wrong. I hated it, though it was still a reflex I couldn't control.

"Don't apologize, actually, I've been really sick for the past two weeks and I'm starting to get really tired of it. I want to enjoy pizza night but I don't think I'll be able to. I'm not sure how to explain it to Eli either..." I opened the bathroom door and got the water running, "I have stuff to get paint out of your hair so let's start with that first, I can get it out for you."

"Okay then..." I sat on a stool in the bathroom that she directed me to. "T-Thank you..."

I felt silly for saying anything and mentally slapped myself as I got out the shampoo I normally used and got the water at good temperature.

It didn't take long for all the paint to come out and go down the drain.

"Okay, you can go ahead and shower now, you can borrow my robe and I'll have some clothes waiting for you when you're done!" I got up in kind of a rush to leave for the reason that I was sick.

Again. T-T

I watched her go without me being able to thank her again. She was really very sweet. It was no wonder she was related to Hayden. I shut the bathroom door and locked it before beginning to undress. I stepped int he shower and scrubbed at my paint-covered arms. I smiled. That was the most fun I'd had in a very long time. I didn't deserve it, but I'd had fun.

Thank you for giving me a fun time, Lord.

Still, I was feeling a little over-whelmed. This family... I turned off the water and stepped onto the bathrug. They're so nice to me, but they've never met me before now. I'm not sure how to react...

"Hey are you done? Let me know and I'll bring your clothes in!" I called through the door, I was chewing on ice from a large glass of ginger ale and on my bed laid a big bowl of saltines. I picked out a knee length dress, I wasn't sure if she shared the same pants size as me so I picked something simple.

I Stepped out with the bathroom tightly wrapped around me. "Y-Yes, I-I'm done!" I stammered. "Do you need the bathroom?"

"Huh?" I turned around with a cracker in my mouth, "Uh no, I'm fine but thank you for asking! Try this on, I think it'd be really cute on you and then I'll do your hair!"

All said after swallowing the aforementioned cracker... ._.

"Okay, thanks!" I tried to smile, but I'm sure it just ended up looking scary. I rushed into the bathroom to slip on my undues and bra which didn't get paint on them, and I slipped the dress on. I'd never worm a dress so long before, but I liked it. I stepped out again. "Um, do I look okay?"

"Aw, you're so pretty!!" I clapped eagerly and then sat her down at the vanity in front part of the bathroom, I started blow drying her hair and brushing it and curling it here and there.

"Finished!" I said eagerly.

I smiled. "Thank you so much!" I studied my face a little. My make-up was at home. Did I need it? I couldn't tell if I did or didn't. But, I wasn't trying to impress anyone, was I? "I wonder if my clothes will stay blue..." I smiled. "I guess I'm going to have to get some new ones..." Maybe the Christian Mission would have some? o-o

"I have old things I'm not wearing anymore so I can send you home with that, you might want to try on the jeans though and see if they'll fit..."

"Pizza!" Zack called.

"Not eating!" I called back, "You can go eat though, Hayden's probably waiting downstairs anyway!"

"Oh, O-Okay. Thank you!" I smiled a little and grabbed up my new blue clothes and hurried own the stairs. I set them by my shoes. I felt really bad that he'd gotten them for me and they were ruined now. Maybe bleach would get it out...

*Hayden*

"I got you a couple slices, oh wow, you look great!" I commented when I met her at the bottom of the steps, "We can eat anywhere as long as we bring the plates back!"

I smiled. "Thank you!" I held out my hand to take the plate. "I-Is it okay if I eat outside? You can stay and talk with her sister. I mean, if you don't want to, you can sit with me but I figured you might want to sit with her because she's your sister and all and well, she's upstairs all alone and it's kind of sad but I don't mind if you sit with m-me.... I should just stop talking now." I said, my face feeling really hot, I looked away from him. I was feeling stupid for rambling so much.

The pizza smelled good though!

"What? But why would you want to sit by yourself?" I asked her curiously, "We don't exclude anyone here, if you don't want her to be alone we can go up there."

I glanced outside. I didn't really want to be with a crowd of people yet though. "Okay then!" I smiled. I wanted to sit outside with one other person at the max, though I'd be home alone soon enough I supposed.

"Oh okay." I noticed her expression and opened the front door to go outside, Keely would be fine for now after all though I wasn't sure what was up with her today.

I held onto my plate tightly, so tight my knuckles turned white. I stepped outside, staring at the floor. "I-I'm sorry. If you don't want to be out here you don't have to be..." I said softly and sat down on love seat. That many people brought back memories I didn't like, though I knew I'd have to get over it rather quickly.

"It's okay, guests come first here." I sat down next to her and took a bite of my pizza, "Try it, it's really good!" I grinned and continued to eat.

I did as I was told and it actually had a lot of flavor in it! "I swallowed. "Wow... this really is good!" My hair fell in my face again but my fingers were all greasy so I tried flipping it behind my back.

I failed. >.<

I stared at my plate and held my head at an awkward angle to be able to eat. Pizza was good. <3

I could tell she liked it a lot and her smile said a thousand words right there, I took a picture with my phone and then put it away instantly. The door opened and Keely stepped out with her purse over her shoulder.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I was going to ask if you'd take me to the ER..."

"What?"

"I don't feel good, I'm just sick."

"I don't think it's anything serious, Kee..."

"Please?"

I nudged his elbow. "G-Go ahead. I'm going home soon anyway." I said with a warm smile. "She needs her big brother."
