And he doesn't even know...

I laid my head on his arm like old times. It should have been his shoulder, but I was too short for that. I pulled my bare feet onto the couch with me and just let out a soft sigh. He felt warmer this time. Or maybe it was my blushing face deceiving me.

I wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close, sighing softly as I took in that feeling of bliss.

"Yeah... I love you, Sammy-o."

I smiled again. I couldn't help it! He always made me do that. "I love you too. I've waited a long time to tell you too."

"I've waited even longer." I grinned, I felt like a silly man.

"I really doubt that." I replied quickly, a giggle escaping when I told it not to! D< "Since like, two years after we, met... I fell in love with you." That was strange... I was telling him I loved him! This doesn't happen to just anyone... so why was this happening to me? I fell in love with my best friend.

"Even in this though... we're going to be best friends forever, best friends with something much stronger holding us together." I kissed her cheek.

I shivered as a chill ran up my spine and butterflies danced around in my stomach. His kiss... it was really warm. I squeezed his arm, which I was holding onto. I adored him. "I wish Amber were here." I giggled menacingly. I had won the prize!! <3

"I don't." I laughed, "She'd be fuming right now but it would be pretty funny to watch."

"I'd certainly be happy." I said softly. "Just to see her face." I curled up in his arms. They were warm and inviting. I was already wishing I'd experienced this Will before. And to think, Amberger could have had this Will if she wanted him enough.

Pahaha! Thank goodnies she didn't!

"Of course you would, you have satisfaction." I grinned, "I'm satisfied too."

I sat there for what seemed like forever... and what seemed like a dream. Was I really being held in my best friend's arms like a girlfriend? Had we really told each other that we were in love with the other?

Is this all really happening?

"Pinch me."

"Nah, I'd rather hug you tighter." I held her closer to him and kissed the top of her head where I would have normally just roughed up her hair a little bit.

I giggled at the kiss. It was so soft and sweet. I scooted closer. "I should probably still be trying to figure stuff out for mom and dad."

"Probably so..." I sighed sadly as I remembered the tragic events of the night before.

I sighed and pulled myself to my feet. I still needed to call the funeral home. I already got their life insurance taken care of. "I'll get back to work then..." I said, beginning to walk to the kitchen again.

I shot up suddenly and spun her around in my arms before leaning down and planting the most passionate kiss ever onto her lips.

She was all mine.

I simply melted. My first kiss ever, and the best kiss ever. I kissed him back whole-heartedly. This was a kiss I refused to miss out on.

I smiled down at her after pulling away, "I love you." I wasn't sure what else to say.

I grinned and jumped up, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I love you too!!"

Some time later I took her out on our first date, we had a lot to get through with funeral plans and such. It felt sad and scary sometimes.

But I held her up, I had to and I wanted to.

The funeral arrangements were mostly complete. I had a date, and the funeral would happen, I just couldn't get the paper to put their names in the obituaries. I sighed. "Thank you so much for all the help you've given me. I adore you. I absolutely adore you."

"I'll do anything for you and you know that." I had settled for the most part and wasn't really sure if I was going back to public classes or not.

At this point we had a lot of stuff to finish working on still but it seemed to be falling into place.

"I love you too, Sammy."

I pulled my feet into the car seat and yawned. "I'm just ready for all of this to be over. And will you please call the paper after we eat? I think they're just being stubborn because I'm a woman."

"Yeah sure, what's the problem though?" I asked curiously.

"They keep refusing to put mom and dad's deaths in the obituaries!" I exclaimed. "And they won't explain why!"
